Review by Bruno van de Velde from Undertow heavy metal mag. Belgium I'm not sure where this guy is really from. I think that he is Swiss and that he now lives in Spain. He has been playing guitar since 1984 and studied for 2 years at the Los Angeles music institute. This is his second solo album and he also played guitar on two other CD's. This release offers instrumental wizardry from Jill and other talented musicians back him up. The music is heavy and filled with grooves. Over all this musical violence Jill puts down some impressive haunting guitar licks. With this release Jill shows that he belongs between the big boys in the guitar hero scene. His technique is impeccable, his playing breathtaking and done with a lot of feeling. The CD is recorded in his home studio but the production blows away many albums that are recorded in big and expensive studios. Damn this guy is good.
